Only a truly powerful story can transform information into experience and seduce people into looking at the world differently. Yet Real continues to do precisely that. Working in partnership with our clients, we create communication tools that work. In every sense of the word. Whether it's corporate communications, branded entertainment, or Internet films.
Founded by Richard DeLigter, our roots are in advertising, where we developed short, sophisticated, sometimes funny, but always effective messages for clients such as Swatch, Timex, Tiger Toys, and the NBA.
For the past decade, we've translated that same commercial expertise into compelling work for our corporate clients delivering information and experience in powerfully focused messages.
After five years producing commercials at Grey Advertising, Richard DeLigter left to direct documentaries for HBO and PBS. He created Real Productions and over the past twenty years has directed commercials, television shows and corporate films for Fortune 500 Companies.
His TV work includes shows for Cinemax, Nick at Nite, USA Network, Lifetime and Bravo. Commercial work includes national spots for Swatch, The NBA, Tiger Toys, Timex and Clairol.
In 1992, Richard shot his first industrial video - for IBM. Since then he's created dozens of projects for IBM, and others, including Pfizer, Nokia, Merrill Lynch, Mercedes, Chrysler, BMW and others.
Ceren is the glue that holds us all together. She coordinates shoots, organizes and assists in the edit rooms; she keeps an eye the budget and deals with all our vendors. A graduate of Webster College of Film in St. Louis, Ceren has been with Real Productions since 2001.
Jim has been producing at Real Productions since 1992. His work includes supervising several films for IBM, Nokia, Merrill Lynch, Pfizer and Mercedes. He is a master of the calculator and calendar. When not working in the corporate realm, Jim develops entertainment projects. He recently produced the documentary "Putting Baby to Bed" for the Lifetime Channel, as well as "Red Betsy" and "The Technical Writer," starring Tatum O'Neal.
Chris has more than ten years of experience as a writer/producer/ director of corporate, commercial, and documentary programs. He has created pieces for clients including Pfizer, Roche Laboratories, IBM, Mercedes Benz, Nickelodeon, The Big Apple Circus, and The Hasbro Children's Foundation. Chris was Co-Creator/Writer/ Executive Producer of Ted the Head, a series of shorts for Nickelodeon, which was nominated for a Cable ACE Award. His award-winning documentary, Containment, will premiere in 2006 on PBS stations across the country.
