Whether it’s an extended video or a short commercial, Real is dedicated to bringing out the best in real people. With roots in TV documentaries (PBS, HBO, USA Network) we’ve used our doc chops to create branded videos, commercials and Internet content to Fortune 500 companies and their agencies. We’ve interviewed them all: patients, bankers, executives, students, the rich and the famous.
Our roots are also in advertising, where we developed short, sophisticated, sometimes funny, but always effective messages for clients such as Swatch, Timex, ASICS and Obamacare.

Director / Founder
After five years producing commercials at Grey Advertising, Richard went on to direct documentaries for HBO and PBS. He created Real Productions and for more than twenty-five years has directed commercials, television shows and content for Fortune 500 Companies and their agencies.
Producer | Writer
Jim has been producing and writing at Real Productions since 1992. His work includes supervising several films for IBM, Nokia, Merrill Lynch and Mercedes. He is a master of the calculator, the calendar and the pen. His writing skills can be seen in work for SAP, HP, Pfizer and ASICS.
